DESIGN PROCESS

The design process tackles some of the most complex social, economic and environmental problems. It is a fundamental part of our work: enabling us to support the public, private and third sector organisations.

The stepped process establishes the ‘genius loci’ adds new and positive qualities to the site and the brief.

1. INFORMATION (Discover)

Put people first. Start with an understanding of the people using a service, their needs, strengths and aspirations. Gathering knowledge of the place and its history through careful analysis of the site and its context.

2. IN-FORMATION (Define & Develop)

Collaborate and co-create. Work together and get inspired by what others are doing. Analysing the facts from the knowledge gained directly influences the design and allow options development.

3. FORMATION (Deliver)

The final form is a response to the knowledge gained and the research conducted. Theproject complexity and challenges are seen as a  positive creative force to create something unique for the people and context it is created.
