ECONOMIC ZONE ONE : DOHA, QATAR
Qatar Economic Zone One (QEZ-1) is the first of three economic zones that are to be delivered by the Government as a means of establishing an efficient, sustainable and world class business environment which will enable foreign investment and trade in Qatar. QEZ-1 encompasses an area of approximately 4.1 km2 and is planned to emerge as a logistics and advanced technology hub containing High Technology Industries, Aviation Supported industries, Assembly Operations, Logistics, Air Parcel Services, Food Processing, Tools & Machinery, Commercial Offices and Support Facilities to further drive the ongoing economic diversification of Qatar.
Located on a key waterfront site adjoining Hamad International Airport. The rational grid responds to the arc of the waterfront, with all primary routes leading to the water edges.
