The Essex Quality Panel will review larger scale, important or sensitive developments and provide independent advice at pre-planning application stage. Accommodating 14 local authorities to form one of the largest single review panels in the UK. The Panels objective is to encourage high quality design, sustainability, environmental infrastructure and community coherence within the county of Essex

The panel brings together leading practitioners across architecture, planning, urban design, conservation, access, landscape design and engineering.

As a campaigner of great architecture and urban design, Raj's approach has always been to question the standard and think laterally to raise the ambition and possibilities of each project. His in-depth understanding of the urban design and accomplishment in acquiring planning permission are evidence to his capacity to balance both commercial requirements and design quality.
