The Operations Centre is located on a steeply sloping site overlooking the Sea of Marmara.  It houses 2,500 staff and comprises 10 linked courtyard buildings in a campus setting.

The Centre includes administrative, operational, training, conference and social amenities, connected by a series of fabric-covered internal streets. 

The scheme involved masterplanning, architecture, space-planning, interiors and landscape. 

The design approach was inspired by the courtyards and covered markets of traditional Ottoman architecture, reinterpreted in a contemporary idiom.
